SANKO HOLDİNG thinks that the power of textile is a sector till very peak circle, so the biggest sawgin and rollergin ginning plants in Turkey was established in 1995. In addition to ginning plants, the oil mill started the production in 1997.

The technology and procees of them are very modern against to others in our country. It signed a good sample that getting a quality lint for needing of the improving spinning mills. Very modern ginning plant, using single bale system and 100 % cotton bags, classifing seed cotton with HVI results and 100,000 bales capacity are desired many investors.

The oil plant is the most modern plant in Turkey. It's capacity is 250 tonnes per day seed cotton. At same time it processes sun flowers, corns, soybean and kanola. If we consider the deficit of oil in the world, the importance of PURECOTTON oil mill is increased very much.

PURECOTTON company provides a variety of other services, such as supplying quality and higher yield seed, searching and trying suitable seed to the region with seed companies, agro development and consultancy. After PURECOTTON services the region, the mean yield is increased from 250 kg. to 500 kg. seed cotton per da.

PURECOTTON is the biggest and honesty buyer in the region (appx.100,000 tonnes seed cotton per year). In agro development, strip trials randomize blocks at 12 locations are applied farmer' s field as demonstrated planting. Cotton varieties about 20 - 25 are tested each year. On the other hand, all varieties are tested with HVI equipment. According to ecological situation of GAP, local and others such as Australia, USA and Israil varieties are planted.

Although synthetic methods improved various yarns and cloths during 20 ^th century, cotton didn' t lose any economic value. Cotton growing fields were 16 million hectares in 1925. These areas decreased 5 million hectares in 1960, but the yield increased very much. Nowadays, although there are many developments in synthetic lints, usages of cotton lint comprises 49 % of total textile lints.
